This program is a partnership between the Canadian Cancer Society and the Freemasons of British Columbia and Yukon. Drivers must have a % smoke free vehicle, $1,, third party liability, less than 3 demerit points and a clean Criminal Reference Check. Training is provided once the screening process is complete. Drivers are reimbursed for their milage. If you own or have regular access to a safe, reliable vehicle, then you’re already on the road to volunteering. But you’ll also need: A good driving record. A current, valid driver’s license. Proof of adequate automobile insurance. Completion of the American Cancer Society training course.
